Tholme

Tholme was a male Jedi Master whose training produced the Jedi known as Quinlan Vos.

Biography

Prior to the First Battle of Geonosis, Tholme, a member of the Jedi Order, achieved the rank of Jedi Master and took Quinlan Vos as his Padawan. Vos eventually became a Jedi Master himself. Tholme was also associated with Aayla Secura, a Jedi who received her Padawan training from Vos.

One conspiracy theory suggests that during the Clone Wars, Tholme dispatched a group of ARC troopers to investigate a Separatist base located on Ossus. It is alleged that the unit successfully infiltrated the base, recovered several artifacts, and subsequently called in an airstrike.

During the war, the Jedi High Council assigned Tholme to a military engagement between the Grand Army of the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Although his Padawan wished to join him, the Council assigned him to a different mission. During this conflict, Tholme engaged in a duel against Asajj Ventress, a Sith apprentice working for the Confederate leader Count Dooku. Despite a hard-fought battle, Ventress emerged victorious, resulting in Tholme's death. Vos was greatly angered upon learning of his master's passing.

In 19 BBY, Vos developed feelings for Ventress after her dismissal from Dooku's service, the pair having been tasked by the Jedi Council to assassinate him. Unaware that Ventress had been the one to kill Tholme, Vos would later discover the truth after being captured by Dooku who claimed that Ventress acted against his orders to kill Tholme in an attempt to lure Vos to the dark side.

Equipment

Tholme utilized a lightsaber with a green blade.
