A human being, fighting for the Alliance to Restore the Republic, functioned as an aide to Lieutenant Tigran Jamiro of the Alliance Military. Their shared assignment was at Echo Base, which was situated on the planet Hoth. When fellow rebel [Luke Skywalker](/article/luke_skywalker] disappeared in 3 ABY, Jamiro and his aide quickly sought out Skywalker's comrade, Han Solo, to let him know that Skywalker hadn't come back to base. After Skywalker's eventual rescue, the Galactic Empire assaulted Echo Base, compelling the Alliance to leave Hoth.
During the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire, this fair-skinned human in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's military served as an aide to Lieutenant Tigran Jamiro. Both the aide and Jamiro were stationed at Echo Base, the Alliance's clandestine headquarters located on the planet Hoth, where Jamiro's duties included being a deck officer and a senior logistics officer.

In the year 3 ABY, the rebel [Luke Skywalker](/article/luke_skywalker] did not return to Echo Base after going to investigate what he thought was a meteor in the vicinity. Following this, Jamiro, accompanied by his aide, hurried into a chamber where tauntauns were housed, situated near the base's north entrance. Jamiro's intention was to inform Han Solo, Skywalker's companion, that Skywalker was still missing. Ignoring Jamiro's counsel, Solo departed on a tauntaun to search for Skywalker. Solo failed to return that night, but both he and Skywalker were rescued the next morning. Subsequently, the Empire attacked the Alliance on Hoth, forcing an evacuation.
The aide's attire consisted of rebel snow gear, which included a sleeveless brown jacket over a white uniform, along with a white insulated watch cap and a brown face wrap.
In the 1980 original trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, the aide was played by an uncredited actor. The filming of the scene occurred between March 29 and April 4, 1979.
