Jamiro's intention was to inform Han Solo, Skywalker's companion, that Skywalker was still missing. Ignoring Jamiro's counsel, Solo departed on a tauntaun to search for Skywalker. Solo failed to return that night, but both he and Skywalker were rescued the next morning. Subsequently, the Empire attacked the Alliance on Hoth, forcing an evacuation.
The aide's attire consisted of rebel snow gear, which included a sleeveless brown jacket over a white uniform, along with a white insulated watch cap and a brown face wrap.
