Tolis, situated within Wild Space, was a planet that served as the homeworld for the Tolemites. This species, who revered the Peace, existed approximately twenty millennia (years) prior to the High Republic Era. On an expedition to a certain planet, the Tolemites inadvertently brought back the beings that would eventually be known as the Nameless. Consequently, these creatures underwent corruption, leading to the emergence of the blight, a devastating plague, on Tolis. The Tolemite civilization met its end due to this catastrophe, compelling the surviving members to seek refuge on a remote island on Tolis, where they established a new kingdom. They successfully created three rods that gave them the ability to manage the Nameless and steer them back towards their original planet. Furthermore, they constructed a repository to preserve and share their history. However, this newly established Tolemite nation was ultimately wiped out by a massive flood, which led to a significant portion of Tolis being submerged under an extensive ocean. Eventually, Tolis and its inhabitants faded into the realm of legends. Millennia later, Cohmac Vitus, formerly a Jedi Master, and Reath Silas, a Jedi Knight, discovered the whereabouts of Tolis and initiated a mission to this world. Their objective was to gain insight into the Tolemites' understanding of the Nameless and the blight.
