Tuttel, a male Mustafarian, resided on the volcanic planet of Mustafar throughout the Imperial Era. After the Battle of Endor and the death of Darth Vader, the Sith Lord, in the year 4 ABY, Tuttel and his pal Giggek ventured into Vader's abandoned fortress to obliterate it, disregarding the cautions of Tuttel's uncle, Lellis. Within the confines of the castle, the young boys were trapped by Vaneé, Vader's devoted servant, who imprisoned Giggek inside. Giggek then set off the explosives that they had brought, which damaged the castle and enabled Tuttel to flee, saving his own life.
