What set the Ungrila apart was the presence of several pairs of horns that sprouted above their mouths. Their physical characteristics also included black eyes, white hair, and skin tones ranging from brown to white.
One particular member of this species, Brushaun, found himself 2000 credits in debt to Lando Calrissian after a card game on Canto Bight. Convinced that he had been cheated, he pursued him to Batuv and confronted him about it.
During 0 ABY, a crime boss belonging to this species acquired one of two lightsabers that once belonged to the ancient Sith Lord Darth Atrius. The lightsaber's influence drove him into a fit of uncontrollable rage, resulting in the deaths of his four Devaronian henchmen, as well as his own demise.
