An aquatic enclosure, the property of a countess, existed on the Core Worlds world of Abregado-rae in the age of the High Republic Era. The titled woman requested that a sizable saberfish be transported from the Mid Rim location of Tibrin and introduced to the aquatic enclosure; Captain Hedda Casset's vessel, the Legacy Run (a Class A modular freight transport), was used to ship the creature. Nevertheless, the animal's health deteriorated within the aquarium, as the aristocrat's personnel were unable to properly maintain its well-being. Rather than allowing the saberfish to perish, the female decided to send it back to Tibrin on the Legacy Run; Casset later appreciated this decision when reflecting on the event in 232 BBY.
The aquarium is mentioned in The High Republic: Light of the Jedi, a novel by Charles Soule from 2021. It was part of Phase I of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project. An early excerpt of the book, which was published on IGN on June 22, 2020, stated that the saberfish came from Spira, a world in the Core Worlds; however, the final version changed this to Tibrin.
