Following an attack by the Order of the Night Wind on the new Daimyo of Tatooine, Boba Fett, Fett was led to believe that Shaiz was responsible for the attack by a captured Night Wind assassin.
Fett, accompanied by three associates, including Master Assassin Fennec Shand, and the captured Night Wind assassin, entered the city hall. The Daimyo introduced himself and stated his purpose of meeting with the mayor. The clerk checked the schedule of Shaiz's appointments for "Boba Fett," but found no matching entry. He then inquired with the visitor if an appointment had been scheduled. Fett only explained the reason for his presence, and so the clerk begun saying how the Daimyo was not in the schedule until Shaiz's Twi'lek majordomo intervened, taking over the conversation with Fett's group. The conversation ultimately ended with Fett forcing Shaiz to confront the mayor.
Shortly thereafter, Shaiz pledged control of his territory to the Pyke Syndicate. News of this agreement quickly reached Fett, prompting him to revisit the mayor. The clerk and Shaiz's majordomo were present at the desk when Fett and Shand entered, with Fett demanding to see Shaiz from the majordomo. The clerk observed as the Twi'lek nervously attempted to make excuses to the Daimyo, subtly directing the clerk to reach for the desk console. The man then witnessed the majordomo's attempt to escape by deceiving Fett and locking the door behind him, only for the Daimyo and Shand to realize the Twi'lek was trying to flee and pursue him out of the building.
The clerk, a human male, possessed light skin, long brown hair with a mustache, and brown eyes. Despite Boba Fett's attempts to project an aura of power as the new Daimyo, the clerk maintained his standard professional demeanor with visitors. Upon Fett and Fennec Shand's second arrival, the clerk appeared more anxious, frequently glancing at the majordomo as the Twi'lek tried to talk his way out of the situation.
The clerk's attire consisted of a white and black uniform, complemented by a brown leather belt worn across his body, which included a pouch, and a black hat.
