Unidentified clone shock trooper (cell guard)

A clone shock trooper served within the Coruscant Guard during the concluding period of the Clone Wars and the initial period of the Galactic Empire. This specific clone trooper was positioned at the Republic Center for Military Operations and, together with another [trooper](/article/trooper], was assigned to watch over the cell of Barriss Offee.

Biography

In the year 19 BBY, not long after the Clone Wars ended and the Jedi Purge began, Barriss Offee, a former Jedi who was then incarcerated in the Republic Center for Military Operations, observed the Jedi Temple ablaze from her cell window. Alarmed and curious about the cause, she summoned the shock trooper guarding her. In response to her summons, the shock trooper and their fellow guard approached Offee's cell, dismissing her question and instructing her to remain silent. When she inquired whether the Jedi Temple had been attacked, the clone stated that she should be grateful she was no longer a Jedi, and that the Order would cease to exist by the following day.

Later, the shock trooper returned to Offee's cell accompanied by the former Jedi, Lyn Rakish. Rakish had come to Offee's cell to present her with an opportunity: freedom in exchange for service to the new Galactic Empire as an Inquisitor. Although initially reluctant, Offee consented after noticing one of the troopers preparing their blaster, implying that she would be executed if she refused.

Personality and traits

Being a clone of Jango Fett, the shock trooper had a height of 1.83 meters. The clone displayed an authoritarian demeanor, ordering Offee to be silent when she inquired about the attack on the Jedi Temple. The soldier expressed confidence in the complete eradication of the Jedi Order and subtly suggested that Offee should be pleased to no longer be a member. The trooper was prepared to kill Offee if she refused to go to Nur and become an Inquisitor.

Equipment

The clone shock trooper was equipped with Phase II clone trooper armor, adorned with the red markings indicative of the Coruscant Guard. They were also armed with a DC-15A blaster carbine.
