A person of human descent resided on the celestial body known as Gallimere during the era of the High Republic. After discovering a lightsaber on the ground following combat, this person appropriated the lightsaber and adopted the persona of a Jedi to inspire optimism among Gallimere's inhabitants. In the year 229 BBY, Jedi Master Keeve Trennis encountered the individual while investigating reports of a Jedi's presence on Gallimere. Collaboratively, they confronted the Nihil who were assaulting the celestial object.
During the age of the High Republic, the Nihil were laying siege to the celestial object Gallimere, resulting in widespread mortality and devastation. Subsequent to the conflict, the person located a lightsaber discarded on the terrain. Seeking to instill hope within the populace of Gallimere, the individual seized the lightsaber and feigned being a Jedi. However, they underestimated the Nihil's level of chaos there, and were quickly overwhelmed.

In 229 BBY, Jedi Knight Terec together with Jedi Master Keeve Trennis journeyed to Gallimere because they received information of a Jedi fighting alone against the Nihil. As Trennis searched for the supposed Jedi, she could hear the distinct hum of their lightsaber in the distance. While under attack by Nihil forces, she eventually came across the person she was looking for, and quickly understood that they were not a Jedi. The Jedi impersonator explained to Trennis how they had obtained the lightsaber and that their only intention was to inspire hope in the people of Gallimere, but they had underestimated the Nihil's numbers. As Trennis reassured them not to apologize for their actions, she was shot by an Elomin Nihil. The Elomin was on the verge of killing Trennis, who was lying helpless on the ground, when the human threw their lightsaber. Trennis managed to catch it and used it to defeat the Nihil. The human then inquired about her well-being, and the Jedi Master confirmed that she was unharmed. She also assured them that she would safeguard the lightsaber, emphasizing that a lightsaber was not necessary to serve the light, only hope.

The individual was a fair-skinned human with dark hair and a slender build. Their hair appeared unkempt, their eyes were hollow, and their arms trembled. When confronted by the Nihil, the human displayed courage and pretended to be a Jedi in order to inspire hope among their people. Upon encountering a genuine Jedi, they expressed remorse for impersonating a Jedi, but when reassured not to apologize, they fought alongside the Jedi.
The individual made an appearance in "All the Republic," the sixth narrative within Revelations (2023) 1, authored by Cavan Scott and visually represented by Marika Cresta. This standalone comic book was released by Marvel Comics on December 20, 2023, serving as a preview for the primary comic series of Star Wars: The High Republic's Phase III.
