The Ishi Tib held the position of guild master on the ring-shaped space station known as Glavis Ringworld. Around the year 9 ABY, they engaged the services of Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, tasking him with capturing Kaba Baiz, a Klatooinian. After Djarin presented the guild master with the severed head of Baiz, the Ishi Tib pressed him to join their dinner party; however, the Mandalorian instead requested the information he was owed and departed.
During the era of the New Republic, the Ishi Tib functioned as a guild master, with their base of operations being the ring-shaped space station named Glavis Ringworld. In approximately 9 ABY, they contracted Din Djarin, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, to apprehend the Klatooinian Kaba Baiz, either alive or dead, due to Baiz's debt of credits to the guild master. The guild master also promised the bounty hunter information regarding the location of an access shaft leading to Glavis's substrata. Ultimately, the Mandalorian killed Baiz and delivered his severed head to the Ishi Tib at a lounge, where they were seated among six other delicacies.
The guild master praised Djarin's swift completion of the task. The Mandalorian then requested his payment and the promised information. The Ishi Tib insisted that the bounty hunter join them for a meal, threatening to withhold the information if he refused. Djarin, however, retrieved Baiz's head, stating that he could find another client to collect the Klatooinian's bounty. Relenting, the guild master revealed that the substrata could be accessed via the heat towers located on Glavis's Kolzoc Alley. The Ishi Tib again invited Djarin to join their gathering, promising another job, but the Mandalorian suggested placing Baiz's head on ice and left the premises.
The Ishi Tib possessed blue skin and brown eyes. They were persistent in their attempts to persuade Din Djarin to dine with them in order to offer the bounty hunter another assignment, even resorting to threatening to retract their promise of information. However, they eventually yielded when the Mandalorian threatened to offer Kaba Baiz's head to other potential clients.
The Ishi Tib was dressed in clothing that was red and dark blue.
The Ishi Tib made an appearance in "Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian" of the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett, which was directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and premiered on January 26, 2022. The character's voice was provided by Helen Sadler, while Safiya Fredericks served as the performance artist.
