Biography

In the year 5 ABY, this male Pyke served the Pyke Syndicate on the desert planet Tatooine. His role involved managing the transportation of sansanna spice using a repulsor train that moved through Tatooine's Dune Sea. The hovertrain's presence created friction with the indigenous Tusken Raiders, who asserted ancestral rights over the Dune Sea. Pyke guards open fired on one such tribe as they passed, however, the tribe started preparing a retaliatory strike, aided by the bounty hunter Boba Fett. The tribe ambushed the Pyke train as it passed by, disabling the hover vehicle and killing many of the Pyke defenders.

The Pyke traveler speaks to Boba Fett

The Pyke traveler was among the Pykes who survived the assault, and he and his group were captured by the Tusken tribe. Fett, standing before them, inquired about their leader. The traveler, after glancing at his companions, approached the bounty hunter, removing his [helmet](/article/helmet] and wondering if they were about to be executed. Fett, seeking clarity, questioned whether the train was carrying [spice](/article/spice], to which the Pyke feigned ignorance until two Tuskens presented a crate filled with sansanna spice. Instead, the traveler maintained that his people were simply trying to safeguard their route.

Fett established new conditions for the Pykes: passage through the Dune Sea would only be permitted with payment of a toll, and any fatalities caused by them would be repaid tenfold. Instructing the traveler to convey these terms to his syndicate, the bounty hunter commanded the Pyke prisoners to march in a line towards the brighter of the two suns, which would guide them to the settlement of Anchorhead. The Pyke traveler expressed his fear that his people would perish during the journey, but Fett assured them of the Tusken Raiders' protection. Despite the traveler's concerns about dehydration, the bounty hunter promised each Pyke a black melon, as its milk would provide hydration. Fett then instructed the Pykes to depart, and the group began their trek.

Personality and traits

The traveler, a male Pyke, possessed skin that transitioned from light blue to beige from the top to the bottom of his head. When Fett sentenced the Pykes to a journey across the Dunes, the traveler voiced his doubts about their ability to survive without protection and water, prompting further concessions from the bounty hunter.

The traveler was clad in black and yellow robes, complemented by black gloves, black boots, and a black helmet featuring an orange metal faceshield.
