General During the Clone Wars, Lok Durd arrived on Maridun with his troops, utilizing a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle. This shuttle was abandoned at Durd's base when he and his army departed to test his Defoliator weapon against a village inhabited by Lurmen colonists. Subsequently, a small team of Galactic Republic soldiers, marooned on the planet and informed of Durd's activities, commandeered the shuttle with the aim of thwarting his plans.
