An individual who held the title of sultan in the Boz Pity system of the Mid Rim during the Imperial Era had a female offspring. Sana Starros, a bounty hunter, claimed that the smuggler Han Solo perpetrated a swindle against the sultan's daughter sometime between approximately 3 BBY and 0 ABY. The sultan's response was to offer a lunar satellite as a reward for Solo's capture and delivery.
In the year 0 ABY, Starros caught up with Solo on a planet located within the Monsua Nebula in the Outer Rim. There, she made Princess Leia Organa, a rebel and Solo's companion, aware of the alleged con perpetrated against the sultan's daughter. He denied that this event ever occurred, but the bounty hunter suggested a visit to the sultan, stating that she had heard the reward of a moon for Solo's capture was still in effect.
This sultan was first referenced in the eighth edition of the Star Wars comic book series from 2015. Jason Aaron wrote the issue, and Marvel Comics released it to the public on August 19 of 2015.
