A young girl, a Twi'lek female, was working as a waitress after being enslaved by Queen Miraj Scintel of Zygerria amidst the Clone Wars. During the mission to Zygerria, she was tasked with serving beverages to Scintel and Lars Quell, the slave dealer who was in actuality Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker in disguise. As part of their scheme to liberate the Togruta enslaved by the Zygerrian Slave Empire, she was a witness to Quell "selling" Ahsoka Tano, the Togruta Padawan. The Twi'lek, who had concealed a knife beneath the serving plate, intended to assassinate Scintel on the balcony where they were located, but Skywalker intervened just in time, seizing her hand and taking the weapon.
Her plan thwarted, the Twi'lek demanded that Skywalker release her, losing her footing on the balcony's steps as she broke free. Enraged by this treachery, Scintel declared that the Twi'lek would be sent for reprocessing, a fate the Twi'lek refused to accept. Rather than endure another day of enslavement, she declared her defiance and chose suicide, leaping from the balcony despite Skywalker's efforts to prevent her, and perishing upon hitting the ground. After her demise, Scintel commented that the Twi'lek was perhaps more trouble than she was worth, and then accepted "Lars"' enslaved girl, informing Tano that she could be her replacement servant, given the vacancy created by the Twi'lek's death.
