A diplomatic male of the Tynnan race journeyed to the planet of Kuthard in 137 ABY with Galactic Alliance Admiral Gar Stazi where he was involved in the peacekeeping_mission_to_the_sepan_sector. During their time there, this Tynnan made an unsuccessful attempt to convince a matriarch from the Dimok people to cede some territory to the Ripoblus. This was during the time of the Sepan Civil War, a conflict between the two species of Sepan.

In 137 ABY, a male diplomat of the Tynnan species joined Admiral Gar Stazi, a Duros serving in the Galactic Alliance, as well as some reporters from the Coruscant News Network, on an observation mission to the world known as Kuthard, situated within the Sepan sector of the Expansion Region's. Stazi, the Tynnan, and the reporters journeyed to a village of the Dimok, where they engaged in conversation with an elderly Dimok matriarch. The reporters inquired about the Sepan Civil War that was occurring between her people and the rival Ripoblus, but then quickly left, leaving Stazi and the Tynnan to continue the conversation with the elder.
The Tynnan, catching Stazi's eye with a smile, and armed with an understanding of land claims, historical atrocities, and proposed peace agreements relevant to the Dimok matriarch's village, questioned the matriarch regarding her family. He then suggested that the Dimok cede a small portion of her family's land to the Ripoblus in order to resolve an outstanding claim. The elder flatly refused, stating that she would rather die than comply. Stazi later related this incident to Rogue Leader Jhoram Bey via holomessage, using it as an example to illustrate his point that the inhabitants of the galaxy had a natural inclination towards conflict.
Stazi perceived the Tynnan as weary and noted that he had gray whiskers.
Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart introduced the Tynnan diplomat in their reference book, The Essential Guide to Warfare, which was released in 2012.
