One of a number of BX-series droid commandos serving the Separatist cause, designated 07, participated in the Defense of Rishi Station.
Biography
In the year 22 BBY, 07, along with a contingent of other Separatist BX-series droid commandos, received orders to infiltrate the Galactic Republic's Rishi Station situated on the Rishi Moon. Their mission was to activate the "all-clear" signal, which would pave the way for a surprise assault on the crucial Republic world of Kamino. Utilizing Droch-class boarding ships and taking advantage of a meteor shower for cover, 07 and the other droids managed to land in proximity to the base. After infiltrating the station and eliminating several clone troopers through stealth, the droids successfully hard-wired the "all-clear" signal, although some clones managed to escape.
Clone Captain CT-7567, known as "Rex," and Clone Commander CC-2224, nicknamed "Cody," arrived to conduct a routine inspection. A droid, cleverly disguised as a clone, attempted to dissuade them from proceeding with the inspection. However, Hevy, using a droid attack flare, alerted the clone officers, prompting Rex to shoot and destroy the disguised commando droid. Subsequently, they were ambushed and forced off the platform, leading the Separatist droids to believe they had been eliminated. Later, 07, alongside two other droids, 08 and 09, stood guard at the base's entrance. Rex then deceived 07 into opening the doors for Unit 26, a droid that had been previously destroyed. As the doors opened, 07 and the other droids met their demise, allowing the clones to successfully reclaim the base. However, a fleet of Separatist warships soon appeared overhead, deploying reinforcements in an attempt to retake the station.
Behind the scenes
The initial appearance of 07 occurred in "Rookies," a 2008 episode belonging to the first season of the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The character 07 was identified in the episode guide that was released concurrently.
