Urgost, known as the Fist of Rayvis, was a prominent smasher within the ranks of the Bedlam Raiders. Rayvis, the leader of the raiders, personally oversaw Urgost's training in the use of the electrohammer, leading Urgost to consider the weapon as if it were a natural part of his arm. In the year 9 BBY, Urgost participated in the raiders' expedition to the Mountain Observatory on the planet Koboh, where they sought to locate an Abyss compass. During a confrontation at the observatory, he met his death at the hands of the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis.

Urgost, recognized as the "Fist of Rayvis," held the position of smasher within the Bedlam Raiders, a band of brigands commanded by the Gen'Dai Rayvis situated on the planet Koboh. Rayvis recognized within Urgost a potential reflection of the principles that the Gen'Dai embraced, and consequently, he directly instructed the subordinate in the operation of the electrohammer. In 9 BBY, [Dagan Gera](/article/dagan_gera], formerly a Jedi, became allied with Rayvis in leading the raiders. After Cal Kestis, the Jedi Knight, brought about Rayvis' demise, Gera guided the raiders towards the Mountain Observatory on Koboh in their quest for an Abyss compass.
The Bedlam Raiders engaged in combat with Imperial forces who were also in search of the compass at the observatory. However, Gera specifically tasked Urgost with eliminating Kestis during the conflict, anticipating that the other Jedi would seek out the compass. During the engagement, the lieutenant encountered Kestis on one of the station's exterior walkways, dispatching an Imperial stormtrooper with his hammer as Kestis emerged from a turbolift. Urgost discarded the stormtrooper's body over the walkway's edge before confronting Kestis, verbally provoking the Jedi as they battled. Kestis emerged victorious, killing Urgost before facing Gera and ultimately defeating him as well.
Urgost viewed the electrohammer not merely as a crude instrument, but as a tool to create his art, wielding it as if it were a seamless extension of his arm. He also took great pride in the fact that Dagan had chosen him to pursue Cal Kestis, an honor he relished.
Urgost made an appearance as a mandatory boss character in the 2023 video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developed by Respawn Entertainment.
