A Kilji individual, identified as "Vassal Two," was a Kilji vassal within the Kilji species' government, known as the Kilji Illumine. This role signified adherence to the Illumine's beliefs. In 18 BBY, they were stationed at the sensor station aboard the Kilji war cruiser [Anvil], serving under the command of General Crofyp, an officer within the Illumine. After Crofyp's task force, which included the Anvil and the Kilji picket cruiser Hammer, journeyed to the [Unknown Regions]' Rapacc system with the intention of rescuing a group of refugees, they were confronted and prevented from completing their mission by the Paccosh-controlled Nikardun blockade frigate [Aelos]. Following this encounter, Vassal Two alerted Crofyp to the arrival of the Chiss heavy cruiser [Springhawk] on the Anvil's starboard side; subsequently, this Chiss starship destroyed Crofyp's cruiser.
The character of Vassal Two made an appearance in the 2021 novel titled Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil. This book represents the concluding installment of the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy, authored by Timothy Zahn.
