Vivien Lyra Blair

Born on June 4, 2012, Vivien Lyra Blair is an American actress. She is known for her portrayal of a young Leia Organa in the series _Obi-Wan Kenobi_. Beyond her Star Wars role, she gained recognition for playing "Girl," the adopted daughter of Sandra Bullock's character in the Netflix horror thriller movie Bird Box. She also played Alba in the video game Telling Lies, Guppy in the Netflix superhero film We Can Be Heroes with Star Wars actor Pedro Pascal, and Sawyer in the horror film The Boogeyman.

Blair developed her reading skills using Star Wars books, and she became a big fan of the droid R2-D2. Deborah Chow, the director, offered the part of Leia Organa to the young actress, and she spent a summer filming for it. Blair and Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the show, did a chemistry test together where they said lines from one of their conversations on Daiyu. Chow believed that Blair embodied the spirit of Organa and Carrie Fisher, who originally played the character in the original trilogy. McGregor commented that Blair possessed all the wit and cheekiness of Fisher's interpretation of Organa. During filming, Blair and McGregor got to know each other better, mirroring the development of Organa and Kenobi's relationship in the series.
