"Part VI" marks the conclusion of the six-episode run of Obi-Wan Kenobi, having been broadcast on June 22, 2022.
Groff Ditcher, the foreman, cuts in line at a refreshment stand in Anchorhead on Tatooine. [Reva Sevander](/article/reva_sevander], formerly an Inquisitor, intervenes, inquiring with the vendor about a farmer named Owen Lars.
Meanwhile, in the vastness of space, Darth Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer, designated Devastator, gives chase to Kawlan Roken's transport ship. Roken informs his passengers that the hyperdrive is nearing operational status and instructs them to reroute power to the aft deflector shields, intending to reach Tessen. Privately, Roken reveals to Obi-Wan Kenobi that the ship's motivator is failing and time is running short. Princess Leia Organa employs her droid, L0-LA59 (Lola), to offer comfort to Corran and his mother. Kenobi devises a plan and asks Leia for temporary use of her droid.
Back on Tatooine, Luke Skywalker accompanies his uncle, Owen Lars, to a mechanic in search of a replacement belt for their landspeeder. A man, Dardin Shull, approaches Owen with crucial information. Aboard Roken's ship, Leia expresses her displeasure with Kenobi's strategy to abandon them to distract Lord Vader. Corran's mother reminds him of the importance of unity. Kenobi appeals to Roken, Leia, and the other passengers, urging them to consider his plan. He persuades Haja Estree to safeguard Leia in his absence.
Owen Lars and Luke return to the Lars homestead. Owen informs his wife, Beru Whitesun Lars, that Reva is coming for Luke and suggests they flee with him. Beru refuses and convinces Owen to stand their ground. They retrieve hidden blasters from within their home.
Aboard Roken's ship, Haja has a conversation with Leia and allows Kenobi a moment to speak with her. Although Leia is saddened by Kenobi's decision not to return home with her, she reluctantly accepts it. Kenobi asks Leia to inform her father, Senator Bail Prestor Organa, of his efforts to save her. Kenobi also gives Leia the late Tala Durith's empty gun holster as a farewell gift. They embrace, and Leia asks Kenobi to return safely. Before departing, he resolves to confront Vader once more, even if it means his demise.
As Kenobi proceeds to the drop ship, Roken attempts to dissuade him, suggesting they can repair the hyperdrive. Roken ultimately accepts Kenobi's decision, understanding the Jedi's unresolved conflict with Lord Vader. Before leaving, Kenobi tells Roken that the Rebellion needs more leaders like him. Kenobi pilots the drop ship away from Roken's freighter, attracting the attention of the Imperials, who detect a single lifeform onboard. The Grand Inquisitor advises Lord Vader to continue pursuing The Path's ship, arguing that they should not prioritize one Jedi. Vader disagrees, stating that this is no ordinary Jedi, and orders the Devastator to pursue Kenobi's ship.
At the Lars homestead, the family prepares to confront Reva. Owen cautions Luke about the potential for Tusken Raiders to attack their farm. While they intend to stay and fight, he instructs Luke to flee if things go awry. Owen and Beru reassure their nephew that everything will be alright. Meanwhile, Kenobi pilots his starship towards a desolate moon characterized by jagged rock formations. Vader orders his crew to ready his shuttle, vowing to face Kenobi alone. As Vader descends to the moon, Kenobi leaves Lola inside the ship's cockpit.

As Reva approaches the Lars homestead, Vader lands his shuttle on the barren moon. Vader locates Kenobi and inquires whether he has come to destroy him. Kenobi responds that he will do what he must and ignites his lightsaber. Vader declares that Kenobi will die, and they engage in a lightsaber duel.
Reva breaches the inner courtyard of the Lars homestead and activates her lightsaber. Owen and Beru open fire on Reva, hitting her with blaster fire. Reva deflects the blasts with her lightsaber. Simultaneously, Kenobi and Vader continue their battle on the rocky moon. Kenobi attempts to collapse a rock formation on Vader, who recognizes that Kenobi's strength has returned. Vader uses the Force to throw a portion of the monolith back at Kenobi before they clash blades. Vader uses the Force to destabilize the ground beneath Kenobi, causing it to collapse. He then attempts to bury his former master under the rubble. Believing he has won, Vader mocks Kenobi for thinking he could defeat him.
Back at the Lars homestead, Reva corners Owen and disarms him. She senses through the Force that Owen cares for Luke as his own, prompting Owen to affirm that he sees Luke as his own. When Owen asks what Reva wants, she replies that she wants justice. Owen attacks Reva with a metal stick, but she shatters it with her lightsaber and throws him off a bridge onto the ground. When Reva enters the building, Beru punches her in the face. Although Reva quickly subdues Beru, this delay allows Luke to escape through an opening in the roof into the desert. Reva pursues Luke into the desert.
While using the Force to prevent the rocks from burying him, Kenobi is tormented by flashbacks of his previous encounters with Lord Vader. However, he closes his eyes and focuses on memories of Luke and Leia, which inspire him to move the rocks and debris trapping him. As Vader returns to his starship, Kenobi ambushes his former Padawan and attacks him with his lightsaber. Now more attuned to the Force, Kenobi outmaneuvers Vader and Force pushes him against a pillar. He levitates numerous stones and bombards Vader with them. As Kenobi prepares for another strike, a weakened Vader is forced to defend himself.
Back on Tatooine, Luke flees into Beggar's Canyon with Reva in close pursuit.
Meanwhile, Kenobi damages Vader's armor and life support system with a combination of lightsaber strikes and rocks. After overpowering Lord Vader, Kenobi delivers a decisive blow to his helmet, damaging his mask and revealing the left side of his scarred face. Kenobi addresses him as Anakin Skywalker, prompting Vader to respond that Anakin is gone and that he is all that remains. Kenobi is visibly heartbroken and tearfully apologizes to Anakin. Vader replies that he is not his failure and that Kenobi did not kill Anakin. With a cruel smile, Vader replies that he killed Anakin and vows to destroy Kenobi as well. Kenobi's anguish turns to resignation, and he sadly responds that his friend is truly dead before bidding the Dark Lord farewell. As Kenobi departs, Vader calls out to him while rising to his feet. Defeated, he screams Kenobi's name once again in helpless fury as Kenobi departs the rocky moon in his starship.
Elsewhere, Reva uses the Force to dislodge the rock that Luke is standing on, causing him to fall unconscious. While traveling through hyperspace, Kenobi senses that Luke is in danger. Reva attempts to kill Luke with her lightsaber but is haunted by flashbacks of the Great Jedi Purge and Darth Vader. She also sees a vision of her younger self in the place of Luke.
Kenobi lands near the Lars homestead and finds Owen and Beru frantically searching for Luke. Reva approaches them, carrying the unconscious Skywalker. As she lays Skywalker down, the boy begins to stir, much to the relief of Owen and Beru. While the Lars carry their nephew to safety, Kenobi faces Reva. Reva tells him that she could not kill Skywalker and that she failed to avenge her fellow younglings' deaths at the hands of Lord Vader.
Kenobi reassures Reva that she has not failed, stating that she has brought peace and honor by showing mercy. He also tells Reva that she has not fallen to the dark side and adds that she is free to choose her own destiny. Reva sheds tears before laying down her Double-bladed spinning lightsaber. Kenobi helps Reva to her feet and reassures her that they are both free.

At Fortress Vader, the repaired Darth Vader informs Darth Sidious that he has deployed probe droids to locate Kenobi. The Emperor senses Vader's agitation and questions whether his apprentice is influenced by his feelings for his former master. Vader responds that Kenobi means nothing and reaffirms his loyalty to his Sith Master. Vader sits on his throne.
On Alderaan, Princess Leia dresses and styles her own hair. Breha Organa is surprised and pleased to see her daughter wearing her holster. She joins her parents in welcoming a guest who has arrived in a starship. Leia tells Bail that she has discovered other ways to lead but says that she would like to change some things. Bail invites her to work together to change things.
Leia is delighted to see Kenobi and her droid Lola. Kenobi embraces Leia and her parents. While Bail says that they can never repay him, Kenobi reassures them that she has already done that. Bail expresses concerns about the growing power of the Galactic Empire. Kenobi tells them that they can count on him. Leia asks Kenobi what he should do now. Kenobi decides he should rest after their adventures.
Kenobi tells Leia that she is wise, discerning, and kindhearted, which he says are qualities from her mother. He also describes Leia as passionate, fearless, and forthright, which he attributes to her father. He tells Leia that her parents were exceptional people who bore an exceptional daughter. Before departing, Kenobi tells Leia that she can turn to him for help but stresses the need to be careful. Leia and her adoptive parents watch as Kenobi departs on his ship.
Back on Tatooine, Kenobi leaves his cave with a toy in his rucksack. He rides on an eopie towards the Lars homestead, where Luke is playing. Owen asks what Kenobi is doing here. Kenobi accepts that Luke should be allowed to grow up like any ordinary boy. He also allows Owen to remain Luke's protector, which he vows to. Owen allows Kenobi to meet Luke. After meeting Luke, Kenobi rides back on his eopie into the desert.
While approaching Beggar's Canyon, Kenobi is greeted by the Force spirit of his late Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Kenobi is surprised to see his former master, but Qui-Gon replies that he was just not ready to see. Qui-Gon says that he still has some distance to travel before the two continue their journey through Beggar's Canyon.
