Vossk

Vossk, a Trandoshan male, made his living as a bounty hunter. He resided on the moon Nar Shaddaa, which orbits Nal Hutta, during the period after the Jedi Civil War and the years that followed. Eventually, he relinquished his leadership role and departed from the Bounty Hunters' Guild. In the year 3951 BBY, Vossk encountered Meetra Surik on Nar Shaddaa, offering her a warning regarding the numerous other bounty hunters pursuing the bounty placed upon her on the moon's surface.

Biography

During the years following the Jedi Civil War, a Trandoshan male named Vossk lived. He was a bounty hunter on Nar Shaddaa, often called the "Smuggler's Moon." Vossk used to be the leader of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, a long-standing regulatory body. He left his job and position of leadership because he hated the new mercenaries who didn't follow the Bounty Hunters' Creed.

In 3951 BBY, Meetra Surik, the Jedi known as the Exile, and her companions arrived on Nar Shaddaa. Their goal was to locate the lost Jedi Master Zez-Kai Ell. When the Jedi approached Vossk, the Trandoshan cautioned her about the dangers present on the Smuggler's Moon. He informed her about the bounty placed on her head by the Exchange crime syndicate. He suggested that she try to get members of the Exchange to collect the bounty, thus revealing themselves, as a way to get rid of it.

He also provided her with intelligence concerning notable bounty hunters active on Nar Shaddaa. These included the nest of insective Gands, the Duros bounty hunter group known as the Zhug brothers, the Twin Suns, who were two Twi'lek female assassins, and a unit of HK-50 series assassin droids. Additionally, he made Surik aware of two rival bounty hunters, the Wookiee Hanharr and the Human Mira.

Personality and traits

Vossk deeply valued the rules and honor among bounty hunters, specifically the Bounty Hunters' Creed. His disdain for those who disregarded the creed led him to resign from the Bounty Hunters' Guild. He held Mira in high regard, considering her the best bounty hunter on Nar Shaddaa. He admired her dedication to the hunt, as opposed to the slaughter embraced by many other bounty hunters. Vossk possessed olive green skin and red eyes.

Equipment

In 3951 BBY, Vossk was seen wearing a dark blue jumpsuit on Nar Shaddaa.

Behind the scenes

Vossk made his debut in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, a video game created by Obsidian Entertainment and launched in 2004. His past leadership of the Bounty Hunters' Guild was initially mentioned as background chatter when he introduced himself to the Exile in the game. This was later substantiated in the Star Wars Insider 99 article "Bounty Hunters' Guild Handbook", published in January 2008. In cut content of the game, Vossk would have provided information about the GenoHaradan assassin guild. This group was originally introduced in BioWare's 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
