Warren Sedoru

Warren Sedoru was a Padawan of the Jedi Order, a Human male, who existed throughout the times of the Great Galactic War, the Cold War, and the Galactic War that was waged against the reconstituted Sith Empire.

Biography

Born a Human male a few decades prior to 3681 BBY, Warren Sedoru, who possessed sensitivity to the Force, underwent training to become a Jedi. He quickly rose to prominence as one of the most celebrated Jedi Knights within the Jedi Order. When the Sith Empire, having experienced a resurgence, reclaimed their sacred world in the Battle of Korriban and initiated the Great Galactic War against the Galactic Republic, Sedoru was among the first Jedi to spearhead counteroffensives against the Empire's forces. He achieved several early victories over the Sith, participating in dozens of battles across the galaxy on planets such as Yavin 4 and Alderaan, although he sustained significant injuries in many of these engagements.

Although he survived without the need for cybernetics or prosthetic replacements, Sedoru's connection with the Force began to weaken. Following the conclusion of the war with the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant in 3653 BBY, he devoted himself to the pursuit of peace. Relinquishing his status as a Jedi Knight, he became a Padawan under the tutelage of the Kel Dor Jedi Master Tol Braga.

Warren Sedoru before turning to the Dark side

Early in the Galactic War, Sedoru was contacted by his former Master regarding a new assignment: the capture and potential redemption of the Sith Emperor himself. Braga also enlisted the Hero of Tython, the Jedi Knight responsible for resolving the Desolator crisis and defeating Darth Angral, along with the Hero's former apprentice Kira Carsen, to join the strike team he was assembling.

Sedoru's mission was to go to Balmorra to acquire a cloaking device, possibly of Gree or Rakata origin, the same technology used to conceal the Emperor's fortress. However, the device was located within the Balmorran Arms Factory, which had become an Imperial stronghold, necessitating assistance from the local resistance. Ultimately, the Hero managed to secure the cloaking device, although they were compelled to exchange Imperial data on cloaked weaponry with some hostile resistance fighters in return.

Eventually, Braga's team gathered on Tython to commence their mission. However, the Jedi Council requested to speak with them, explaining that their former team member, Jomar Chul, had experienced a vision of the Hero succumbing to the dark side. Despite the concerns of Chul and Jaric Kaedan, who deemed the mission too perilous for the Hero's involvement, Grand Master Satele Shan and Master Bela Kiwiiks expressed confidence in the Hero's unwavering loyalty.

The strike team departed for Dromund Kaas and successfully infiltrated the Emperor's fortress. However, upon confronting the Emperor, he unleashed his dark powers to corrupt the entire strike team, turning them to the dark side.

Warren would later lead a large contingent of Sith in an assault on the Republic flagship Valiant, boarding the vessel in an attempt to assassinate Admiral Dabrin after obtaining the Republic's codes. The Jedi Knight confronted Warren, attempting to persuade him to break free from the Emperor's influence. Warren rejected the Knight's pleas and engaged the Jedi in a lightsaber duel. The Knight gained the advantage. Severely wounded from the battle, Warren attempted to rise, but the Knight incapacitated him. Dabrin then advocated for Warren's execution, fearing the potential leakage of military secrets to the Empire, but the Knight insisted on the possibility of his redemption and instructed the Admiral to imprison him until the Jedi arrived to retrieve him. Warren taunted the Hero for their compassion before Dabrin sedated him, stating that he would keep the fallen Jedi sedated as a precaution. Warren was subsequently returned to Tython for healing and potential redemption.
