Wilkes

Wilkes served as part of the crew on the Galactic Republic space station named Relay Post Epsilon One, which was located in the Galov system during the time known as the High Republic Era. During the year 231 BBY, Lourna Dee's Tempest, a vessel of the Nihil pirates (led by the Tempest Runner), launched an assault on the relay post; this event is remembered as the Battle of Galov. As the Nihil started to board the station, Wilkes communicated to the Controller, Macken, stating that the crew was unable to repel the attackers; however, he was killed mid-transmission. Macken tried unsuccessfully to contact Wilkes again. Jedi and Republic Defense Coalition forces arrived, enabling Macken and Raleigh to survive the conflict.
