Summary from the Publisher

The royal family of Eiattu 6 journeyed to the location of Rogue Squadron with the purpose of retrieving their princess, Plourr Ilo, who was previously unaware of her royal status. Their intention was to leverage her position to resolve the ongoing internal conflict plaguing their planet. Their thinking was that a powerful symbol could unite the populace. However, they were unaware that this strong-willed princess might possess her own unique vision for the direction of their world.

Synopsis of the Plot

Rogue Squadron members are seen patrolling the marshlands of Eiattu 6 riding on the backs of thuvasaurs. Dllr Nep detects the sound of Imperial blaster fire in the vicinity as Wedge Antilles investigates the site of a prior attack by the People's Liberation Battalion (PLB) on an Imperial installation. Despite the objections of Plourr, Wedge grants permission for her legal husband, who is also her second cousin, Count Rial Pernon, to accompany them in order to provide aerial support to the other Rogues. Before the Rogues are overwhelmed by enemy troopers and TIE fighters, a contingent of PLB soldiers appears, led by Sergeant Ashaad, who welcomes the Rebels as fellow adversaries of the Empire. Back at the base, Count Arian Laabann of the Priamsta, the leader of the PLB, extends an invitation to Plourr and her companions to join him for dinner.

That same evening, Wes Janson and the other Rogues who are grounded attend an impassioned speech given by Harrandatha Estillo, Plourr's estranged brother and the leader of the PLB, who inquires of Janson about his sister. During the Priamsta dinner, Plourr disavows the nobles and denies them any future role in the affairs of Eiattu, comparing them to poison.

In a different location, an Imperial officer is torturing a captured PLB fighter. Despite the fighter's resistance to divulging information, he is met by a man who seems to be Harran. This "Harran" then proceeds to break the man's neck, and the officer embraces him, declaring that he will soon be the ruler of Eiattu and that no one will be able to stop him from doing so.
