Mentor Xiath, a human of the male variety, possessed a strong connection as someone attuned to the Force. He acted as one of the enigmatic advisers to the Noble Court, who formerly governed the Anoat sector. Over countless years, individuals such as Xiath aided the nobles in preserving their autonomy during the era of the Galactic Republic and in enduring the exterminations conducted by the Galactic Empire. Xiath instructed numerous apprentices, including a Nothoiin known as Amrosio. During the Imperial blockade of the Anoat sector, a young smuggler originating from Burnin Konn sought out Xiath at his sanctuary, Ancient Palace located on Hosra. Recognizing the Force potential within this visitor, Xiath proposed to instruct the smuggler in the ways of the Force.
Xiath, as a mentor, initially appeared within the mobile game Star Wars: Uprising released in 2015, with Ike Amadi providing the character's voice. Zachary Oldenkamp was the designer responsible for his creation.
