Yus Sh'roth, once a member of the Shamed Ones, resided within the depths of the Coruscant underworld following its transformation via Vongforming into what became known as Yuuzhan'tar.
Having previously held the position of a shaper, Sh'roth aligned himself with the Niiriit Esh, a collective of rebellious Shamed Ones who subscribed to the Jeedai Heresy; furthermore, he stood as one of the elder individuals within the group. His prior experience as a shaper rendered him an indispensable asset to their collective, possessing the knowledge to effectively utilize the chuk'a they had discovered and cultivate a substantial portion of their sustenance.
During an assault by Yuuzhan Vong Warriors on their encampment, Sh'roth was in the company of Kunra. While Kunra escaped, Sh'roth attempted to repel the warriors, resulting in his demise. His final death cry served as an alert to Nom Anor, cautioning him about the warriors' impending arrival.
