0G-LC, frequently shortened to 0G, functioned as a droid who piloted the vessel known as the Star Seeker during the era of the High Republic. He conducted explorations of the Outer Rim Territories on behalf of the Jedi Order; however, following damage to his ship within an asteroid field, he executed an emergency landing on a planet while en route to the planet Tenoo. Although he eventually repaired his vessel, he became too fearful to resume piloting, choosing instead to remain marooned.
Much time elapsed, and in the year 232 BBY, Jedi younglings located 0G-LC after hearing tales of his supposed bravery. Initially, he resisted their presence, but he ultimately permitted them to board the Star Seeker and shared accounts of his previous failures as a pilot droid. With the support and guidance of the Jedi, 0G gathered the courage necessary to reclaim the pilot's seat and navigate the asteroid field successfully. He then returned to Tenoo before deciding to resume his exploratory mission.
0G-LC served as a pilot droid for the Jedi Order for centuries preceding 232 BBY. He journeyed to over one hundred worlds aboard his starship, the Star Seeker, exploring the Outer Rim Territories in service to the Jedi and retrieving numerous artifacts. However, while exploring the sector containing the planet Tenoo, two asteroids within an asteroid field almost destroyed his ship, compelling him to crash-land on a planet near Tenoo. The Star Seeker was rendered unable to fly, and 0G-LC became stranded. He eventually restored the Star Seeker to operational status, but he was too afraid of the hazardous asteroids to continue his mission and return to Tenoo.

In 232 BBY, Tenoo Jedi Temple younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs came across a star map that pinpointed the Star Seeker. After securing permission from Jedi Master Zia Zanna, the younglings, accompanied by their pilot friend, Nash Durango, and her droid, RJ-83, journeyed to the planet in search of the lost adventurer, whose bravery they had heard stories about. Upon landing, the Jedi traversed the planet's dense fog and discovered 0G, who initially resisted their presence and urged them to depart.
The trio proceeded to disperse the fog using the Force, revealing the Star Seeker and enabling 0G-LC to identify them as Jedi. They explained that they had located him using the tracker, which the droid remembered possessing and appreciated. He shook the hand of each youngling and then told them his name, which he briefly forgot. Inviting them aboard his ship, 0G showed the Jedi the location where he kept his discoveries from his voyages. Brightstar, unaware that 0G-LC was the adventurer he had read about, inquired about the pilot's fate, prompting 0G to clarify that he was the pilot and to recount his past Jedi Order missions.
Solay proposed assisting in repairing the Star Seeker and accompanying 0G-LC back to Tenoo, but the droid revealed that he had repaired the ship years previously and was simply afraid to attempt flying again—he rejected the notion of his bravery and retreated to the cockpit. The Jedi determined that he merely required encouragement and followed him, with Brightstar delivering a pep talk: he informed the droid that everyone experiences fear, but bravery lies in confronting it. Consequently, 0G resolved to emulate the Jedi and confront his fear of flying once more. Brightstar arranged for Durango to meet the group at 0G's ship, where they devised a plan for the younglings to assist 0G-LC in flying his ship, following a path through the asteroids that Durango would create.

The two starships took flight—0G voiced his apprehension, but his newfound friends reminded him of their support. Near the field's end, two asteroids threatened to trap 0G as they had years before, but with Brightstar's encouragement to be brave, he identified an opening and navigated through them. He successfully piloted out of the field, eliciting cheers from Durango and his passengers. He laughed and declared that he had been brave. Upon the Star Seeker's landing on Tenoo, 0G produced a purple artifact, which Zanna assured the Jedi would study for an extended time. 0G then proclaimed his intention to continue his mission, as numerous worlds remained for him to explore in the galaxy—Brightstar conveyed that the Jedi would miss him but that he was always welcome to visit. 0G-LC expressed interest in that possibility and then bid farewell, departing in the Star Seeker.
0G-LC developed a reputation within the Jedi Order as a courageous and adventurous explorer. However, after crashing the Star Seeker and fearing to fly again, he felt that he was not truly brave. It was only after his new Jedi friends offered him encouraging words that he felt comfortable trying again, though he remained nervous. He was proud of his accomplishment after his flight succeeded. Upon initially meeting the Jedi younglings, he made sure to introduce himself and use polite manners. The droid possessed two arms and two legs and was covered in silver, yellow, gray, and rust-colored plating. He had two blue eye sensors, with the left one being larger than the right, and he had two antennae attached to his head. He had masculine programming and spoke with a stutter.
0G-LC was conceived for "The Lost Jedi Ship," the second segment of the second episode of the animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. The episode premiered at Celebration Europe on April 8, 2023, and his voice was performed by Michael Sinterniklaas. While the subtitles refer to him as "OG-LC," the credits list his name as "0G-LC."
