The 614-AvA speeder bike, which is also referred to as the Lothal Speeder Bike, represented a speeder bike model of Imperial Military design, brought to life by the Aratech Repulsor Company. The Galactic Empire was the primary user of this vehicle, especially during their control of Lothal.

The 614-AvA from Aratech was a compact, rapid, and lightweight speeder bike that the Imperial Military put to use. Originally intended as a transportable scout vehicle, often stored within larger vehicles such as a walker or landspeeder, the 614-AvA was more similar to a swoop than a standard speeder bike. Its design was minimalistic, featuring a repulsor drive-thruster unit, a control module, and adjustable control surfaces affixed to sturdy frame rails. These rails could telescope, allowing the bike to shrink to approximately one-third of its original size without any tools. With the simple press of a button, the 614-AvA could be compacted into a cube roughly one meter on each side, making it easy to transport in large quantities.
The Imperial Army placed orders for tens of thousands of 614-AvAs for use by their reconnaissance and military police forces. These military versions included enhancements like reinforced frames, more powerful drive-thrusters, and a pair of light blaster cannons.
In general, the 614 had great success in Imperial service and became known among pilots for its reliability, ease of maintenance, and user-friendliness.

Imperial combat drivers and scout troopers utilized this militarized Imperial speeder bike model for quick transportation.
A 614-AvA speeder bike was once the property of Ezra Bridger, a Jedi Padawan, after he took it from the Galactic Empire. Bridger obtained the speeder after the Empire no longer needed it, and he repainted it to suit his personal preferences. It was equipped with standard steering. He used the speeder bike during a Raid near Jalath. Following the Liberation of Lothal, Sabine Wren became the owner of Ezra’s speeder bike and modified it. During the New Republic Era, Wren used her newly modified bike to evade a E-wing escort fighters patrol, dispatched by Governor Ryder Azadi, in an attempt to bring her back to the Spectres mural ceremony. The bike was later spotted outside the Lothal tower when Ahsoka Tano visited the tower in search of clues.
The design for this speeder bike originated from an early drawing by concept artist Joe Johnston back in 1979. The young reader's book Star Wars Rebels: Head to Head states the vehicle's length as 3.98 meters, while the official StarWars.com Databank lists the length as 4.4 meters.
In the Star Wars Rebels episode "An Inside Man," Grand Admiral Thrawn mistakenly calls the bike model a "624 AvA speeder bike."
