CT-27-3555 was a member of Bravo Squad, a training unit stationed on Kamino during the Clone Wars, and was in training to become a clone trooper. They were a clone cadet identified by the number five on their clone training armor.
CT-27-3555 originated as a clone from the genetic material of the bounty hunter Jango Fett and was born on the planet Kamino to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic. In the early stages of the Clone Wars that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, CT-27-3555 was assigned to Bravo Squad, a squad of clone cadets undergoing training on Kamino. During their time in training, Squad Bravo managed to complete the practice examination faster than any other squad. When ARC trooper Commander Colt from the Rancor Battalion arrived to supervise the final assessments, Bravo Squad, along with Domino Squad and two other squads, were called to a hangar located in the Tipoca City Military Complex to hear a speech from Colt, who was introduced by Master Chief Bric. During the address, Colt selected Bravo Squad to undertake the final test first, citing their record-breaking time on the practice test as the reason.
From Citadel Challenge version THX variable 1138 onward, CT-66-3232 and CT-66-3233 positioned themselves on the left flank, while CT-66-3238, CT-66-3339, and CT-27-3555 took the right flank. CT-66-3232 instructed CT-66-3238 and CT-66-3339 to advance and engage the training battle droids, with CT-66-3232 and CT-66-3233 providing cover fire as they followed. The squad progressed, reaching the base of the citadel, and eventually CT-66-3339 instructed CT-66-3238 to move toward the citadel. CT-66-3238 successfully rappelled up and secured the light post, thereby completing the exam. As they were leaving the arena, CT-66-3555 and their teammates passed Domino Squad who were entering, and CT-66-3233 taunted them.
CT-27-3555's gear included clone training armor marked with Bravo Squad's red coloring, the number five displayed on their chest plate and left shoulder [armor](/article/armor], their designation on their left leg, and they were armed with a DC-15A blaster carbine firing non-lethal bolts, as well as an ascension cable.
The identification number of this Bravo Squad cadet was first seen in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Clone Cadets". The number was shown as 27-3555, with the CT- prefix already established. This method of assigning identification numbers was confirmed by the troopers in Domino Squad.
