Sometime later, Vader summoned the disguised Dormé to a room where he stood with his lightsaber drawn and both guards on their knees on the floor, claiming that the guards had failed their commander and the Empire. After Vader questioned Dormé about what she would do to the troopers, they begged to her they had not. Vader then informed the troopers that their commander was going to kill them, and they tried to grab an E-11 medium blaster rifle to stop her. Dormé reached the weapon first and after a brief struggle, she shot the two troopers, though she did not kill them.
