Phin-Law Wo was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order who was stationed in the Jedi Temple on the planet Vrogas Vas. Wo recorded teachings in a Jedi holocron, instructing to protect it at all costs. By 0 ABY, the holocron fell into the hands of Grakkus the Hutt, a crime lord who operated on the moon Nar Shaddaa. That year, Grakkus captured the Force-sensitive rebel Luke Skywalker and asked him to open the holocron, threatening Skywalker with death. The rebel managed to open it, and Wo's hologram appeared in the room. As a Jedi, Wo wore Jedi robes.
