In the time following the Battle of Hoth, several bounty hunters journeyed to Ruusan in search of Nakano Lash who was taking care of Cadeliah, heir to the Mourner's Wail and Unbroken Clan syndicates. Beilert Valance and T'onga followed Lash and Cadeliah into the system's orbital wreckage where they clashed with Boba Fett, who shot T'onga and left Lash for dead. T'onga was healed back on Ruusan, where she recovered from her injury and was rescued by her wife Losha Tarkon.
