A museum was located on the Mid Rim moon Jedha. In 382 BBY, the museum was open to pilgrims and housed the Rod of Daybreak, an artifact that was part of a set of rods that controlled the Nameless creatures which fed on Force-sensitives. That year, Elecia Zeveron—the leader of the Path of the Open Hand cult who hoped to acquire the Rod of Daybreak—informed the prospector Sunshine Dobbs that the rod was rumored to be secured within the museum when she met with Dobbs. When Zeveron later met with the prospector again, he informed her that he had learned the Rod of Daybreak had been moved to a vault controlled by the Jedi Order after the Rod of Seasons—another rod in the set—had been stolen from the Hynestian royal family, with Dobbs unaware it had been stolen by the Path.
