A gas giant planet was located in the Unknown Regions and had three sets of orbital planetary rings and a thick, roiling atmosphere. By 19 BBY, an excursion liner of the Chiss Ascendancy's Boadil family ventured too close to the gas giant, and the starship's captain ignored the engineers' warnings of electronic interference from the planet's magnetic fields.
The liner was caught in the planet's gravity well, and the Chiss patrol ship Boco under the command of Senior Commander Mitth'raw'nuru, core name "Thrawn," attempted to rescue it. With the assistance of the patrol cruiser Parala under the command of Senior Captain Irizi'ar'alani, ("Ziara"), Thrawn lightened the liner by shooting off its luxury wings, pulling the ship out of the gravity well with tractor beams and saving all eight thousand passengers aboard.
The planet appeared in flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.
