During the Great Galactic War, a male Human known as Adraas rose to prominence as a Sith Lord. He found himself in rivalry with Darth Malgus and played a crucial role in both the Battle of Ord Radama and the Sacking of Coruscant. This all took place around this time.

The Dark Council, advisors to the Emperor, dispatched the Sith Lord Adraas to Ord Radama. His purpose was to assist Darth Malgus in the siege of Livien Magnus, the planet's capital city, during the battle. Malgus resented Adraas' presence. When Adraas suggested deploying Mark I and Mark II Sith war droids to create a path to the city, Malgus and Darth Venemal, despite their doubts about the droids' effectiveness, did not object.
Adraas commanded the droids to assault the city's southern gate. Malgus observed as the Republic defenders destroyed the droids. However, the droids' failure served as a sufficient distraction, allowing Venemal and his commandos to breach the city walls. Livien Magnus soon fell to Malgus' forces. Adraas then attempted to claim sole credit for the victory, further fueling Malgus' animosity towards him.

During the Sacking of Coruscant, Darth Angral selected Adraas to lead fifty Sith warriors, all handpicked by Angral, aboard a stolen Republic shuttle to attack the Jedi Temple. The group consisted of Sith apprentices and full Sith, led by Adraas and another Sith Lord. Malgus, Adraas' rival, was assigned to assist in the assault, despite his desire to lead the attack alone. Angral overruled Malgus, leading to Adraas' involvement. During the battle, Adraas used the Force to unleash a shockwave, repelling several Jedi and damaging the Temple floor.
During the conflict, Adraas attempted to duel Jedi Master Ven Zallow, but was incapacitated by his opponent, allowing Darth Malgus to engage and ultimately defeat Zallow. Following the mission's success, Adraas was among the surviving members of the Sith Warriors strike force, much to Malgus' displeasure. While initially hesitant, Adraas eventually joined in the Sith Warriors' victory celebrations. After Malgus retrieved his lover, Eleena Daru, he instructed Adraas to arrange for a medical team to attend to her injuries. Adraas also reported the strike force's success to Angral before Malgus dismissed him.
After the Imperial Medical Corps treated the wounded and prepared the dead for transport, Adraas approached Malgus regarding the slain Jedi. Malgus decided that they had fought valiantly and that the Temple would serve as their tomb. When Adraas prepared to summon an Imperial bomber to destroy the Jedi Temple, Malgus instead ordered the use of explosives from the dropship. Despite Adraas' concerns about their proximity to the blast, Darth Malgus, displaying his disdain, used the Force to shield himself and detonate the explosives.
Disobeying Darth Malgus' orders to immediately transport Daru to the Steadfast, Adraas diverted her to a local hospital occupied by Sith soldiers. She was abandoned there by other Imperials who later relocated their operations to a medical ship. Meanwhile, Darth Angral attempted to contact Malgus via comlink, but when he failed, he contacted Adraas instead, requesting him to speak on Malgus' behalf. Elsewhere, Malgus encountered rogue Jedi Knight Aryn Leneer twice, and later discovered Eleena's location and Adraas' betrayal.
Upon finding Eleena, Malgus killed her, recognizing her as a weakness but still acknowledging his feelings for her. Subsequently, upon leaving Coruscant, Darth Malgus confronted Adraas in his private estate. During a lightsaber duel, Malgus overpowered Adraas. Adraas then attempted to retaliate using various Force powers, including Force Lightning, despite knowing Malgus' mastery of the Force. Malgus countered with a barrage of Lightning attacks, leaving Adraas dying on the floor. With his final words, Adraas, writhing in pain, begged Malgus to end his life. Malgus obliged, removing his gloves and choking his long-time rival to death with his bare hands.
Adraas was an arrogant individual who considered Darth Malgus his rival. He relished taunting Malgus, openly expressing his ambition to usurp Malgus' position within the Sith hierarchy.
Adraas excelled at political maneuvering, gaining favor from Darth Angral and using it to restrict Malgus' freedom of action, then taunting him, knowing Malgus couldn't retaliate without instigating open conflict.
Like many Sith Lords, Adraas harbored prejudices against aliens.
Adraas was a proficient Sith warrior, though his preference for politics over combat ultimately led to his defeat and death at Malgus' hands. He demonstrated greater power than many of the Jedi at the Temple on Coruscant, as evidenced by his survival. While little is known about his condition after the battle or the number of Jedi he killed, his survival suggests considerable skill.
He had also developed significant skill in utilizing the Force. This is evident in the shockwave he generated during the Sacking of Coruscant, as well as his lightning attacks during his confrontation with Malgus. His lightsaber skills were also noteworthy, as he managed to hold his own against both Master Zallow and Darth Malgus, even though he was ultimately defeated. He also eliminated several Jedi defenders during the assault.
