Amador, a planet situated within the Chalenor system of the Expansion Region's Immalia sector, was circled by at least one moon, specifically Mayvitch 7. This planet existed where a hyperlane connecting the Coth Fuuras system with the planet Nessem intersected with a second route that provided a link to the Drearia system. In the period spanning from 3665 to 3653 BBY, Amador became the site of a battle during the Great Galactic War. This conflict saw the Galactic Republic clash with the Sith Empire, during which the Chagrian soldier known as Fideltin Rusk bravely defended the entrance to an Amador fortress against a substantially larger group of Imperial soldiers. More than three millennia (years) afterwards, Human colonists residing on Mayvitch 7 suffered total annihilation at the hands of the Yinchorri species during the Yinchorri Uprising in 33 BBY.
The initial mention of Amador occurred in the first issue of the Jedi Council: Acts of War comic-book series. This comic was penned by Randy Stradley and released by Dark Horse Comics on June 21 of 2000. The planet remained unmentioned until its inclusion in the 2011 massively-multiplayer online roleplaying video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Within the game, Fideltin Rusk, who serves as a companion to the Jedi Knight class, refers to Amador through ambient dialogue when the player arrives with him at the Shrine of Healing on the planet Voss.
