Battle on Mulita

The battle fought on Mulita was an offensive undertaken in the High Republic Era on Mulita, the homeworld of the sentient carnivorous plants called the Drengir, found in the Mulita system far into Wild Space, by the Jedi Order alongside the Hutt Clan. Jedi Master Avar Kriss spearheaded this offensive against the Drengir, whose presence on the Galactic Frontier had been responsible for a crisis that had been ongoing for some time. The Jedi received assistance in this offensive from the Hutt Cartel, with whom Kriss had forged an alliance to combat the Drengir crisis.

The location of the Drengir's original member, the Great Progenitor, had been previously discovered by Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis via a connection to the Drengir through the Force. Subsequently, Kriss issued a summons to as many Jedi as she could, aided by Master Estala Maru stationed on the Starlight Beacon space station, who sent out requests to Jedi that matched Kriss' requirements. Concurrent with Kriss' offensive, which consumed her attention and that of the numerous Jedi she had called upon, Nihil marauders initiated an attack on the planet Valo during the Republic Fair. The Mulita offensive was still in progress when the attack had concluded.
