Knowing that the data possessed significant worth to the First Order, who would compensate him handsomely for it, Jack demanded that Riyola Keevan, the commander of the ship, surrender the informant, threatening to obliterate the entire vessel if his demands were ignored. Keevan, conversely, urged her personnel to maintain composure, emphasizing that fear would be detrimental to the passengers. As Jack's patience waned, he ordered his vessel to open fire upon the Halcyon, demonstrating that his threats were genuine.
