Battle of the Forest Cities

title: Battle of the Forest Cities

The significant engagement known as the Battle of the Forest Cities involved the united Gungan tribes in an offensive that resulted in the complete destruction of the heavily fortified prisoner encampment commanded by Boss Rogoe.

Tribal Unification

Following the expulsion of the bursas responsible for the destruction of Gallo's city, he, accompanied by Marsune, journeyed through the forest. Their objective was to persuade the various Gungan tribes to cease their internal conflicts and instead unite against their shared adversary, Rogoe. Otoh Jahai was the first village they visited. Tenko, the Boss of the town, was convinced that Otoh Langua, a village in close proximity, had purloined their Sacred Staff. Tenko refused to enter negotiations until the staff was returned. During the search for the staff, Gallo made his way to Otoh Langua. Hantic, its Boss, asserted that they were not in possession of Otoh Jahai's Sacred Staff. However, they were compelled to continue fighting in order to replenish the wealth that had been drained from their treasury.

Marsune shared with Gallo information about rumors of a fortified location within the forest. This stronghold was where Rogoe kept the resources he had plundered from the Gungan tribes. Gallo's forces swiftly dealt with the stronghold and its guards, and nearby, they discovered the staff belonging to Otoh Jahai. Subsequently, Gallo returned to Otoh Langua with the nova, and to Otoh Jahai with the staff. Both villages then joined Gallo, committing troops to his growing army and agreeing to establish an alliance. Continuing their journey, they arrived at Otoh Urs, presided over by Boss Copek. Copek had prior knowledge of Gallo and felt sympathy for his bursa issue, as Otoh Urs was in a similar predicament. With the assistance of the newly pledged troops, Gallo eliminated the nearby Bursa clan. Consequently, Otoh Urs joined Gallo and gifted him their artillery booma launchers.

The Confrontation

The final town was Otoh Raban, whose Boss, Hoxie had been kidnapped by Rogoe and confined in a nearby prison camp. Other troops were also held captive there. Utilizing the artillery to obliterate the gun turrets, Gallo's forces launched an assault on the base, liberating imprisoned militiagung and Boss Hoxie himself. He was soon safe back in his own village, and he pledged troops to Gallo.

Subsequent Events

With the Gungan tribes now unified, Gallo assembled their combined forces and advanced towards Spearhead.
