Carnivore Battalion was a component of the Galactic Republic's 501st Legion. This battalion served as a military infantry unit during the Clone Wars, and it was one of three brigades operating together. Notably, during the Battle of Devaron, the clone troopers belonging to Carnivore Battalion operated Walker 773, specifically an All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, and even infiltrated a Munificent-class star frigate of the Separatist Alliance while it was under the control of the bounty hunter Cad Bane.
