Celebration Day

Celebration Day, held in 33 BBY on the planet Kwenn, was a special occasion orchestrated by the Jedi High Council of the Jedi Order. Lyal Lunn, an employee of Gala Key Arena, and Morna, an engineer from the Remember Kwenn holofeed, also assisted with the event. The purpose of this event was to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Kwenn's Grand Renewal project, an initiative undertaken by the Jedi Order in 233 BBY.

Celebration Day served a dual purpose: it not only marked the bicentennial of the Grand Renewal project on Kwenn, but it also aimed to rebuild faith and optimism in the Jedi. The Jedi had become increasingly involved in galactic matters, leading to a perceived neglect of individual planets like Kwenn. Over the years following the Grand Renewal project, Kwenn, along with numerous other planets in The Slice, experienced a surge in piracy due to decreased Jedi presence, which resulted in a decline in public opinion towards the Jedi.
