"Charhound", the tenth installment of the Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures webseries, premiered on StarWarsKids.com on November 11, 2021. It debuted simultaneously with the series' ninth episode, "Nexu."
SF-R3 (nicknamed "Aree") and CAM are dispatched by the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts to Elphrona with the mission of determining if charhounds engage in fetch. Aree and CAM enter a cave and encounter a charhound, and Aree initiates a game of fetch using a stick. The charhound retrieves the stick, promptly incinerating it with its breath. Aree proceeds to throw additional items, each of which the creature scorches with its fiery mouth.
When SF-R3's starship malfunctions, Aree expresses frustration at their lack of further options. The charhound, after expelling fire in a manner similar to urination, retreats to its cave, where Aree stumbles upon heat-resistant crystals. Aree then uses these crystals to play fetch with the charhound, successfully winning over the creature's fondness. Aree then shares several interesting facts, noting that charhounds are surprisingly amicable despite their dragon-like breath.
