Civilian robe

A civilian robe served as attire for non-Jedi individuals associated with the Jedi Order while participating in off-world assignments during the age of the High Republic Era.

Design

This civilian robe was a uniform composed of a loose, quilted poncho, complete with a kangaroo pocket, worn over a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants.

History

During 132 BBY, Bazil, a Tynnan tracker, and Verosha Aniseya, a human and former Padawan, both put on civilian robes when they joined a Jedi group on a mission that took them to the planet Khofar. Bazil complemented his uniform with a helmet and a retractable visor to shield his eyes, whereas Verosha secured her poncho with her personal belt, which had a pouch for carrying her droid Pip, and also carried her own backpack. Later on, Verosha's twin sister, Mae-ho Aniseya, took her robe without permission to use as a disguise.

Behind the scenes

The civilian robe made its initial debut in the "Day" episode, which is the fourth installment of The Acolyte series on Disney+.
