Conjeni

description:

The Conjeni were a sentient species distinguished by their star-shaped form. During the High Republic Era, specifically during Lina Soh's tenure as Supreme Chancellor, Force-sensitive Conjeni younglings belonged to the Jedi Order's Clan Kowak. One particularly warm day, Jedi Initiate Reina Bilass supervised the clan on a trip to a swimming pool located near the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant for a lesson. As they made their way back to the temple, some of the lively group chose to wear their Jedi robes, while others opted to remain in their swimsuits.

As they arrived at Processional Way in front of the temple, Bilass quieted the Conjeni and other younglings with a snap of her fingers. This action caused them to form a neat line as they approached the temple steps. Grand Master Yoda and Jedi Master Avar Kriss then came out of the temple to greet them. When Yoda inquired about their swimming lesson, the Conjeni younglings, along with their human and Snivvian friends, responded with enthusiastic shouts. Kriss then guided the group inside the temple to lead them in meditation.

Behind the scenes

Within the current Star Wars canon, the Conjeni made their debut in "What a Jedi Makes," a short story penned by Michael Kogge and featured in the 2022 anthology Stories of Jedi and Sith. The species first appeared in the Star Wars Legends timeline, specifically in "Treasure Hunt," an adventure module written by Todd Quigley and published in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 sourcebook for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.
