The CX Dagger vessel served as a mode of transportation for Clone X troopers who were participants in a deep undercover program operating under the Galactic Empire's Advanced Science Division circa 18 BBY. This vessel was designed in a dagger form and was identifiable by its two red engines positioned at the rear. The ship could be operated from afar using a small remote integrated into the armor of the clone X troopers, offering functionalities such as enhanced long-distance communications for the assassins. Furthermore, it was equipped with a unique stealth capability that could jams the ship from being detected by sensors. A Dagger vessel was piloted by the clone assassin CX-2 to the planet Teth with the objective of assassinating CX-1, another clone assassin who had fallen into the hands of the Clone Underground. During the skirmish that occurred on Wayland, Chief Scientist Doctor Royce Hemlock commandeered CX-2's remote and a backup RK-3 blaster to call in the CX Dagger vessel. His intention was to evacuate himself, Commander [Scorch], and the captured clone Omega from Tantiss Base. However, Omega's fellow clones, Hunter and Crosshair, intervened by destroying the vessel and killing Hemlock and Scorch to rescue Omega.
