Darien Whit

Darien Whit, a child from Alderaan with Force-sensitivity, had their name recorded in a memory crystal following Order 66. Following Darth Vader's capture of Jedi Chief Librarian Jocasta Nu, Imperial shock troopers serving the Galactic Empire searched Nu and located the crystal. Upon analyzing the memory crystal, Vader he discovered it contained a list of Force-sensitive children, previously targeted by the Jedi Order, Whit included.

Galactic Emperor Palpatine, secretly Darth Sidious and Vader's Sith Master, sought the list, as Nu knew, even during his time as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Nu suspected this was to create more Sith warriors. After Nu revealed Vader's prior identity as Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Vader eliminated all the shock troopers, then killed Nu, informing his master that she died attempting to escape. When Palpatine inquired if Vader had obtained any information from Nu, Vader claimed he had learned nothing.
