Desevro fleet

A naval grouping belonging to the Imperial Navy operated around Desevro. Captain Amos commanded this force from the Tormentor, an _Imperial II_-class Star Destroyer, until his death. The Tormentor became his sole vessel before its destruction, resulting in his demise. This fleet included several Star Destroyers, all of which met their end.

Description

Stationed at Desevro, the Imperial Navy group included numerous Star Destroyers, with the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Tormentor serving as the flagship. TIE series starfighters were also part of the fleet, assisting in the defense of Desevro.

History

Following the Battle of Endor, Captain Amos took command of the Desevro fleet from the Tormentor. This fleet engaged the New Republic in multiple fleet battles over Desevro. His colleagues viewed these actions as futile and careless, resulting in the destruction of all fleet ships except the Tormentor. The Tormentor sustained damage before the ISD Overseer arrived. The Overseer had been dispatched after local Imperial officials were contacted regarding a delicate mission to locate Republic Project Starhawk. Upon the Overseer's arrival, debris from the destroyed fleet ships filled the space surrounding Desevro. Simultaneously, Titan Squadron initiated tracking of a New Republic convoy carrying engineers destined for Project Starhawk.

At this point, Captain Amos and the Tormentor emerged from hyperspace and launched an attack on the convoy. This forced the Overseer to defend the Republic convoy, ensuring its teams could board a GR-75 medium transport and secure vital navigational data as the mission was compromised. During the battle above Desevro, the Tormentor suffered significant damage and was ultimately destroyed by a chain reaction of explosions. This occurred after a Republic EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate detonated nearby, triggering the catastrophic event.

Commanders and crew

Captain Amos led the fleet stationed at Desevro. His fellow Imperials considered him to be impetuous and prone to rash decisions.
