Di'kut
Di'kut was a male Human and a clone originating from Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter. He fought as a clone commando within the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Sporting commando armor of the Katarn-class variety, distinguished by green markings, Di'kut was known for his sarcastic wit. He served alongside Zag, Tyto, and Sergeant Sarge, his comrades in Aiwha Squad, in the latter stages of the Clone Wars. In 19 BBY, Di'kut and his squadmates from Aiwha participated in the Battle of Garqi, where their mission was to locate civilian refugees after a bombing campaign by the Republic. Upon finding a child named Evan, the quartet of clones escorted him to a nearby refugee camp, which was under the supervision of Jedi General Traavis. At that location, the squad was ordered to execute Order 66 by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and along with his clone brothers, Di'kut opened fire on his former Jedi commander, killing Traavis.
Biography
Di'kut was the moniker of a male Human and a clone derived from Jango Fett, the Mandalorian bounty hunter. He came into existence on the aquatic world of Kamino, situated in the Wild Space sector of the galaxy's expanse. Di'kut's purpose was to serve as a clone commando within the Grand Army of the Republic. Sometime during his existence, he either adopted or was given the name "Di'kut," a term in Mando'a that translated to "idiot". As the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Di'kut left Kamino and joined the Grand Army's Special Operations Brigade, under the leadership of Jedi General Arligan Zey.

By the third year of the Clone Wars conflict, Di'kut held a position within Aiwha Squad, a special forces squad composed of clone commandos. His comrades included Zag and Tyto, with Sergeant Sarge leading the group. As the war approached its end, Di'kut and his clone brothers were dispatched to Garqi, an agriworld situated in the Outer Rim. Following a Republic bombing campaign against Separatist forces, Aiwha Squad was assigned the task of searching for survivors. Upon investigating a heavily damaged farmhouse, Di'kut and his squad discovered a young child called Evan. With the boy's parents dead, the commandos took responsibility for escorting him to the nearby refugee camp. However, Evan was hesitant to go with the clones and attempted to escape, heading back to his ruined home, and unwittingly encountering a OG-9 homing spider droid. Di'kut and his fellow commandos engaged the spider droid, destroying it and rescuing Evan, thereby earning the boy's respect. Despite his quick action to defend the boy, once Evan was safe, Di'kut sarcastically commented that he would allow the droids to kill him if he tried to run away again.
That evening, the clones and the young boy camped in the wilderness of Garqi, where Di'kut and his brothers gathered around a fire as Sarge explained the life of a clone trooper to Evan. The next morning, Aiwha Squad arrived at the refugee camp, which was under the authority of Jedi General Traavis. The Jedi Master commended Di'kut and his squadmates for their efforts, and informed them about the death of General Grievous—the Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army—at the hands of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, the mood shifted when Order 66 was issued, one of the one hundred and fifty contingency orders of the Grand Army, which declared the Jedi as traitors to the Republic, to be executed immediately. Having received the order directly from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, Sarge commanded the squad to open fire on General Traavis. Di'kut and his squadmates obeyed, shooting and killing the Jedi General in accordance with the Chancellor's order.
Personality and traits
Di'kut's defining characteristic was his sarcastic sense of humor. It sometimes presented as lighthearted jesting, but could also manifest as sharp cynicism when he was frustrated. His unusual humor was likely the origin of his nickname: di'kut was a Mandalorian curse, similar to "moron," and literally meant "someone who forgets to put their pants on" in Mando'a. In combat, Di'kut favored the anti-armor grenade launcher attachment for his DC-17 blaster rifle, and he carried extra ordnance for the weapon on his utility belt. He also preferred the color green, and he customized his Katarn-class commando armor with green markings.
Behind the scenes
Di'kut's initial appearance was in the 2005 comic story called Orders, featured in the Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 4 of the Clone Wars Adventures comic series. Ryan Kaufman wrote the story, and the Fillbach brothers, Matthew and Shawn, created Di'kut's artwork. He was later included in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia in 2008.
