The story entitled ""Orders (comic)"" appeared in Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 4, which was the fourth installment of the Clone Wars Adventures comic book series. The narrative is primarily centered around the experiences of four Republic commandos belonging to Aiwha Squad, their encounter with a young refugee displaced by the Clone Wars, and their carrying out of Order 66 against Jedi General Traavis.
During 19 BBY, the Galactic Republic was engaged in combat with the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Garqi, an agricultural world situated in the Outer Rim. Following an accidental bombing of civilian areas by the Grand Army of the Republic while attempting to eliminate Separatist battle droids, the clone commandos of Aiwha Squad were deployed to locate any survivors. They discovered Evan, a young boy whose parents had perished in the bombing of their farm house. Adhering to their directives, Aiwha Squad began escorting the boy towards the nearby refugee camp, but on the way, Evan attempted to flee from the clones, only to come across an OG-9 homing spider droid. RC-1013, the sergeant of Aiwha Squad, known as Sarge, intentionally drew the spider droid's attention to himself to shield the boy. Once he had become the target of the droid's weapon systems, Aiwha Squad launched an attack, successfully destroying the droid.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Aiwha Squad decided to establish a campsite for the night. While casually sitting around a fire without their helmets and various pieces of armor, Evan questioned why the four commandos all shared the same appearance. Sergeant RC-1013, identifying himself as "Sarge," clarified that they were clones and proceeded to introduce the other members of his squad: Zag, Tyto, and Di'kut. Evan then recounted his own situation, including how he had been orphaned during the battle. Sarge expressed his condolences before elaborating on the nature of their lives in the clone army and the critical importance of following orders during wartime. The following morning, Aiwha Squad reached the refugee camp with Evan and handed him over to the care of Jedi Knight and General, Traavis. Traavis expressed his gratitude for the squad's efforts and shared news of General Grievous' demise. Sarge then took a moment to offer some words of encouragement to Evan before they parted ways. However, only moments later, Sarge received a transmission from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, issuing the command to execute Order 66. Without hesitation, Sarge instructed his men to comply and fatally shot General Traavis, branding him a traitor to the Republic, all within Evan's sight. Witnessing the child's distress and confusion, Sarge explained the meaning behind Order 66—that the Jedi were enemies of the Republic who deserved death—and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to obeying the orders he was given.
