Dumpling

Dumplings, a culinary creation enjoyed by a multitude of species throughout the galaxy, consisted of a filling encased in a fried or steamed food shell. Torro Sbazzle, a chef of Devaronian descent, claimed that dumplings were universally adored within the galaxy. When Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian unexpectedly requested Sbazzle to create a meal for Darth Vader at Cloud City, she chose to prepare dumplings. Her particular recipe involved using midnight-colored pastry flour and zaffa oil to make the dumpling wrappers, which were baked before being filled with a meticulously diced mixture of three jogan fruits and cheese. The dumplings were then fried, immersed in a sweet honey-wine glaze, and decorated with crystallized citrus peel. Sbazzle briefly contemplated using bantha butter instead of zaffa oil, but ultimately decided against making a dull meal, especially considering it could be the final dish she ever prepared.
